EMG S4 Passive Hot Rail Pickup – Rich Low-End & Crisp Highs

The S4 has a “rail” design with side-by-side coils and ceramic magnets. Because it’s not overwound like many rail pickups, the S4 has a beefier low-end and midrange, with the crisp highs of a traditional single-coil pickup.

All EMG passive guitar pickups now include EMG’s solderless wiring kits allowing any number of wiring combinations and are fully shielded to minimize hum. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.
