EMG X-pansion

Santa Rosa, CA. – January 5th, 2010 – The new X Series models have been a huge hit with guitar players of all styles.  With legendary EMG clarity and increased headroom, the X Series is a new active pickup design providing a more organic and open tone for players. Now EMG has expanded the series with the addition of many more of the popular models such as the 707X, 89X, 81-7X, 60-7X, SAX Set, JVX, and the classic 81X, 85X, 60X in chrome and gold.

The X series feature EMG’s new Solderless Install System. EMG takes their Quik-Connect system a step further with a new pickup buss that eliminates the need for soldering. The rest of the wiring harness attaches to convenient screw terminals on the buss. This makes for a clean, neat, and simple way to make pickup and power connections in your guitar.
